About This Activity
Description
Learn football fundamentals without heavy contact. In Youth Flag Football, teamwork and sportsmanship are emphasized in a positive and structured environment. Children learn passing and other aspects of the game that will keep them active and help them develop skills such as hand-eye coordination. In addition, children will have an opportunity to develop leadership skills and build self-esteem as they improve their technique. Dedicated volunteer coaches are trained to set expectations and help kids find their strengths and advance their skills. The Y accepts individual and team registrations.***Games will be at Hocker Grove Middle School*****
Practices start the week of May 26th, games begin Tuesday, June 3rd
***Games will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:30pm - Coaches will have schedules available prior to the first game****
**This is your HOME-BASE LOCATION - There may be games played outside your home-base depending on the number of teams****
