About this event
Description
Join us on Saturday, September 21st at 10:30a.m. for an adventure… an artifact adventure! This guided program challenges participants to identify artifacts around Oak View with an "I spy"-inspired game. Participants will learn about each artifact and how the artifact fits into Oak View’s history. The Artifact Adventure program is open to all ages, and is best suited for elementary to middle school-aged children. Registration is required for all participants, and walk-up registration is available pending open spots. The tour takes place primarily outdoors and in non-climate-controlled historic buildings and includes walking between the buildings.
Please let us know in advance if you or anyone in your group requires accessibility modifications/ADA accommodations. Upon arrival, please check in with park staff in the Farm History Center (our visitors center building). As a courtesy to other participants, the waitlist and the instructor, if you find you have a change in plans and can no longer attend, please email oakview@wake.gov or call 919-250-1013.
