This course will review common problems associated with a trucks electrical charging system since they are often misdiagnosed when it comes to alternators. This course will teach students the basic theory, operation, construction, and repair of heavy-duty charging system components and will provide the basic knowledge required to perform safe, consistent, and efficient troubleshooting for 12 volt charging systems. The student will gain an understanding of a trucks charging system along with the associated testing and servicing of heavy truck charging systems. Course content includes discussion on voltage and amperage testing of alternators including alternator overhaul procedures.1 Day Course: $210.00
