About This Activity
This five day course brings students together as a group to construct and live in a primitive camp for a week. Modern tools are allowed but emphasis will be on using primitive technology and methods to create a comfortable camp that provides for their needs. Students will build a group shelter, make friction fire and find water. Other topics covered are making basic containers and tools, traps and food procurement, camp amenities and more! Upon completion of this course students will receive a Blackthorn-USA certificate of completion. They will also receive a Blackthorn-USA patch and the “Primitive I” tab to go with it.
