WELCOME TO INTERMEDIATE SPANISH Join our class and let’s dive deeper and continue to learn the information that will lead to an understanding on reading and writing the Spanish language. We will review numbers and their pronunciation; we will practice by matching the correct spelling to the right amount. We will also learn the cost of things. In this class, your children will test their understanding on what they already know and have learned so far. We will introduce how to have simple conversations in Spanish where your children will learn how to introduce themselves and ask questions. We will get to practice the different expressions by recognizing the sounds and meanings of the words and by translating them as well. We will introduce food items, their meaning, pronunciation and spelling. We will go over the food items that belong in the refrigerator and recognize the ones that don’t belong. We will learn how to identify the members of our family and the role they play in our lives. We will practice in many different ways to cover the members of an extended family. We will go over the objects that are found in a classroom and their purpose. We will go over the colors learned prior by practicing and matching all of those objects. We will end our 10 week session learning directions and how to help someone in need when they are lost or asking for guidance. Conversation will be integrated as we learn all these subjects and how to apply it to real life situations.
