Making Color Work! with Mary Pat Ettinger
Weehawken Ridgway- Cora Annex • 145 N cora St Ridgway, CO 81432 Organized by Weehawken Creative ArtsAbout this event
Description
This class has been cancelled.
Color can be one of the most challenging elements in painting—even for experienced artists. This class will help students gain a deeper understanding of color mixing and how to use color more effectively in their artwork. Working with acrylics, students will explore basic color theory, mixing techniques, the differences between transparent and opaque colors, and how warm and cool tones can be used effectively in a painting. The class will culminate in painting a landscape scene that incorporates the color concepts practiced throughout the session.
All supplies are included (instructional hand-out packet, paint colors, watercolor paper and one canvas).
If you're having issues with registration, please email lexi@weehawkenarts.org.
Important: This class requires a minimum number of students to be held and has a set maximum enrollment limit. To help ensure the class runs as scheduled, we encourage early registration. Please check your email (and Spam folder) the day before or on the day of class as any notices will be sent from claudia@weehawkenarts.org.
