Description
This CPR/First Aid training will allow volunteers to receive a 2-year certification alongside District staff. These skills are useful to have to make appropriate decisions in case of minor injury or emergency situations until more advanced medical care arrives.Please bring any snacks/food and water that you may need, as this is a full-day course.
Only registered District volunteers are eligible to take this training. Certain volunteer programs involve maintaining a current CPR/First Aid certification:
- Site Stewards - required
- SWEEP - required
- Chainsaw volunteers - highly encouraged
