This is a Virtual 5K fundraising event. Your registration fee will be donated to the KICKS Kids In Control Keep Safe fund. You get to get fit, and have fun while supporting programs that will help local youth become tomorrows leaders. Using our seven precepts of Humility, Self-Control, Integrity, Courtesy, Discipline, Perseverance and Compassion as our foundation for leadership and our many years of experience working with and guiding youth. Our programs are designed to teach the values of respect, responsibility and kindness as a platform to lead by example. We first help each child to discover the greatness of their individuality before showing them how to recognize the individual greatness of others around them. This is how we cultivate an environment of leading by example. Striving to be the best version of yourself and empowering others to do the same. What Assets does our organization bring to the table: Our director of programs has over 24 years of training in traditional Japanese karate and over 20 years of experience teaching children. The traditional trainings of this art form provide a natural foundation for leadership training.
