Fiesta Wildflower 2025 Cycling Ride – Event Information
Event Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – Event Check-In Opens
- 8:00 AM – 60mi Fast Pace Ride Start (Black)
- 8:10 AM – 60mi Ride Pace Ride Start (Purple)
- 8:15 AM – 40mi Ride Start (Yellow)
- 8:20 AM – 25mi Ride Start (Green)
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM – Post-Ride Festival, Food, and Music
- 2:30 PM – Closing Remarks and Prize Drawings
Course Information:
The Fiesta Wildflower 2025 Cycling Ride offers multiple routes, catering to riders of all levels:
- 25-mile "Wildflower Wander": A beginner-friendly loop through scenic local parks and blooming wildflower fields.
- 40-mile "Sunny Spokes": A moderate challenge that takes riders through charming backroads and rolling hills.
- 60-mile "Full Bloom": For experienced cyclists, this challenging route will lead you through picturesque landscapes with a mix of terrain.
Each route will have designated rest stops with water, snacks, and first aid. Please note: all routes will have SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles available in case of mechanical issues or emergencies.
Arrival Information:
- Location: The event will be held at Rolling Oaks Mall, 6909 N. Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78247.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your ride to complete check-in, get your bib number, and prepare for the ride.
Parking Information:
- Free parking is available at [designated parking lot name], located directly across from the event site.

Waivers and ID:
- Waivers: All participants must sign a waiver form upon check-in. This will be provided to you during registration.
- ID: A valid photo ID is required to check in.
- Riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver in advance or on-site.
What to Bring:
- Helmet (mandatory for all riders)
- Water Bottle(s): Hydration is key! Bring your own water bottle or hydration pack, but water stations will be available along the route.
- Sunscreen: Protect your skin from the sun during the ride.
- Bike Repair Kit: Including spare tube, tire levers, and pump.
- Mobile Phone: In case of emergencies or if you need to contact event support.
- Cash/Card: For any merchandise, food, or drinks available at the event.
What to Wear:
- Cycling Gear: Comfortable cycling shorts, jersey, or your favorite wildflower-themed attire to embrace the event's festive spirit.
- Appropriate Footwear: Padded cycling shoes or sturdy athletic shoes.
- Weather-Appropriate Layers: Check the forecast and wear layers you can easily remove as you warm up.
Other Important Details:
- Safety First: While the Fiesta Wildflower event is about having fun, rider safety is our priority. Please wear your helmet at all times during the ride, follow traffic laws, and be mindful of other participants.
- Support Stations: Rest stops will be spaced along each route offering water, snacks, and first aid kits. SAG vehicles will be available in case you need assistance.
- Post-Ride Festival: After completing your ride, join us for the Fiesta Wildflower Festival, featuring live music, local food vendors, and a celebration of community. Family-friendly activities and entertainment will also be available.
- Prize Drawings: Be sure to stick around after the ride for our prize drawing! You could win amazing cycling gear, local gift certificates, and more!
- Environmentally Friendly: Please respect the environment by disposing of trash at designated stations and using reusable water bottles.
