Enjoy a day at the theater with Gilbert and Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance." It is a fun-filled comic operetta packed with young lovers, daring daughters, footloose pirates, and fleet-footed police.
Please note this program is for the CVA/TBI population. This group is for independent individuals recovering from brain attacks (stroke, brain injury or illness). Programs are provided by TRS in conjunction with UCSD Health Comebackers Neuro Club and Sharp YESS group. There is no direct supervision provided. Must have an assessment on file prior to attending the activity.
The City of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department, Therapeutic Recreation Services, provides therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with any type of disability. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS) work with participants on social and recreational skill development, leisure education, appropriate behavior, and recreation participation in inclusive environments.
