Karate is a traditional Japanese martial art that emphasizes striking techniques using punches, kicks, knee strikes, and open-hand techniques, as well as defensive maneuvers, throws, and joint locks. It is a discipline that focuses on self-defense, physical fitness, mental discipline, and personal development.
