INVESTMENT CLUB Activity Organizer: Srikanth Challa Email: schalla@hotmail.com Dates: Friday Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 9–12 Description: For those interested in investment and finance, consider joining the Investment Club! Investment Club aims to equip students with fundamental finance and investment concepts to set them up for their financial futures. In Investment Club, students can compete in multiple national and international competitions throughout the year to grow their knowledge of personal finance through portfolio creation, essay writing, and case study competitions, such as investing a hypothetical $100,000 in real stocks. The first portion of the year will focus on instruction, covering investment strategies ranging from fundamental to technical analysis, while the second half of the year will move towards developing students’ understanding of personal finance and planning for their financial future.
