Description
With a docent to lead the way, participants on the family-friendly hike will explore the natural sights, sounds, and wonders that surround the Oso Flaco boardwalk. The Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes are a National Natural Landmark and a perfect place to visit and enjoy nature! Transportation is provided for up to 20 participants or families may drive themselves 9 miles to Guadalupe.NOTE: Each individual family member needs to be registered in order to attend. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Rain may cancel the program.
The California Department of Parks and Recreation and the City of Santa Maria are offering the Santa Maria Outdoor Recreation Experience (SMORE) as a way to encourage community members to explore the great outdoors.
