Family Campout: 9/21st-9/22ndScotts Valley Recreation is excited to announce our first Family Campout! Join us for a family campout right here at our park! We have a variety of games and activities planned to keep everyone active and entertained throughout the evening; including a guided night hike, glow in the dark games, crafts, pool and of course, S'mores! Families will set up their tent sites on the upper grass field of Siltanen Park and enjoy the evening with Scotts Valley Recreation.
- All families members must pre-register before attending the campout.
- Date: Saturday, September 21st-Sunday, September 22nd
- Location: Siltanen Park (127 Vine Hill School Rd. Scotts Valley, Ca 95066)
- Time: Saturday Check in begins at 5:00pm, Sunday checkout is no later then 9:00am
- Cost: $30pp (children 3+) *everyone must have a ticket
- Price Includes: 1 campsite, Dinner, S'mores, Donuts & Coffee, Games, Swimming, & Activities
Space is limited, Registration closes by September 13, 2024 (*no refunds after September 13th)
Packing List: Tent, Flashlights, Sleeping Bags, Pillow, Chairs, Snacks, Blankets, Water Bottles, Swim Suits, Floaties (if needed) & Personal Items
FAQ's:- Is there an age restriction? No, children of all ages are welcome. 2 & under are free. Everyone in your party must register.
- Are dogs or pets allowed? No animals are allowed at campout
- Do I have to participate in the activities? No, their optional for anyone who wants to join in and have fun
- What if I have dietary restrictions? When registering you would will indicate your restrictions
- Can I sign up the day of? No, pre-registration is required, and no later then September 13th, 2024
- Is there help to unload my car or set up my campsite? Participants are responsible for setting up their own campsites and unloading their own items
- Are carts, wagons, handtrucks available to use? No there are no wagons, or carts available. Please bring what you need to assist you
- Are there quiet hours? Yes, quiet hours are 10pm-6am
- Will there be a schedule of activities? Yes, at check in you will receive a small welcome bag and a itinerary for the weekend
- Where do we check-in? Look for the SV Recreation table near the amphitheater in the entrance to Siltanen Park
- Can I bring pool toys or tubes to the pool? No, due to the size of the pool we will have sign-up times and there are no pool toys or tubes allowed. Arm/waste floaties are allowed for littles. Lifeguards will be onsite.
- Where is parking? Parking lot directly across the street from the park, very close and accessible to your campsite. No cars are allowed on park grounds
- We encourage a device free weekend!
