In this interactive class, students will become Disaster Detectives and learn how to stay safe during emergencies such as tornadoes, floods, and wildfires. Each day, they’ll solve preparedness challenges through hands-on activities, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Students will build family safety plans, map out emergency routes, and participate in a disaster simulation where they put their knowledge into action. The class will also include a mini emergency kit project to help them stay prepared at home. Teacher: Molly Bargmann, Dedicated emergency management professional and a proud mom of four who calls Seward home.
