Description
Take a guided tour of Pleasant View School, one of the last preserved African American schools from the segregated era in Chesterfield County. An excellent example of early 20th century construction, the school retains all the original architecture of similar patterns typical of Rosenwald school construction of the era. Learn the history of the structure and similar schools of the period.
