Description
Kamps for Kids camp programs offer interactive days full of fun and play to keep kids active, creative and engaged. Days are filled with plenty of outdoor time, learning experiences and making new friends. PA days include a pizza lunch. PA day camps are full day programs and run from 9am to 4pm.
This PA day includes time for skating too. Other activities will be available during the skating time for kids who do not wish to skate.
What to bring:
- Backpack to carry belongings
- Nut-free snacks and a water bottle
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing for playing outside
- Helmet and skates
Additional supports:
Our day camps welcome and include all children. While our goal is inclusive participation, there are times when a child requires more support than our current ratios are able to provide. If your child receives any assistance or support at school of any kind, one on one support at camp may be required. Please contact us to discuss.Nut and Allergy Aware:
Town of Saugeen Shores' facilities and programs are nut and allergy aware zones. We ask that our program participants and facility users to avoid bringing food items that contain nuts or other common allergens into our facilities and programs. This includes training courses, recreational programs and camps. Learn more about our allergy awareness program.Refund Policy:
The refund policy applies to dryland and aquatic programs operated by the Department of Community Services (Town-operated) and operated by program providers under contract with the Department of Community Services (Town-contracted). If an exception to this policy applies, it will be indicated at the time of registration.
- If a program is cancelled by Community Services, a full or partial refund will apply depending on number of classes attended
- Program fees for Town-operated and Town-contracted program, both dry-land and aquatic are refundable up to two weeks (14 days) prior to a program’s start date. A full refund, less the $20.00 administration fee will apply.
- No refunds will be issued within two weeks (14 days) of a program start date except for COVID-19 related and medical reasons, or if a vacancy can be filled through the waiting list.
- For program withdrawal during a program due to COVID-19 related or medical reasons, the participant will be refunded for number of classes remaining, less the $20 administration fee.
- For Town-operated programs, if a refund credit is left on account for future use, the administration fee is not charged. This does not apply for Town-contracted programs.
