Title: Exploring GLP-1 Medications and the Role of Nutrition: Uncover The Best Strategies To Support Your Weight Loss Journey Description: Hearing more about weight loss-approved GLP-1 Medications? Not sure if they are right for you? Concerned about long term risks/benefits? Get your questions answered during this 90-minute informative session led by licensed dietitian, Denae Garrett, MS, LDN. The course will cover the following areas: 1.) Define what GLP-1 medications are how they work in the body to support weight loss. 2.) Review the perks and pitfalls of GLP-1 medications, and review evidence and clinical outcomes. 3.) Offer practical tips to incorporate nutrition and fitness to have the most successful weight loss experience.4.) Introduce the behavioral and emotional factors tied to weight loss.5.) Outline steps to overcome barriers to long-term weight loss success. What’s Included: All registered participants will receive:1.) Workbook with content covered in the session2.) Resources for your personalized weight loss considerations3.) Five-day meal plan, recipes and grocery list.
