Join the Downtown Development Authority for two great 5k Events in 2024. A continuation of our Annual Fall 5K Series -with a twist! We are only doing two 5K Events this year, one during the Annual Downtown Trunk or Treat and another during the Annual Tree Lighting Event.
Event details and schedule
The Halloween 5K will be held on October 26th at 5:00pm. On site Registration and packet pickup will begin at 4:15 and close at 4:45. The Trunk or Treat event will start at 3pm and go until 7pm. There will be classic cars, food trucks, candy and games. This is a great family event and we hope we can add a little fun to it by having our Halloween 5K that same evening!
Both running and walking are allowed and costumes are encouraged! We would love to see you come out with your family for this fun event! Each participant across the finish line will receive a pumpkin charm. You can add this charm to a key ring or piece of jewelry or you can hang it from your Fall 5k Series participant medal that you will receive at registration.
There will be a trophy for the first place male and female finishers and certificates for 1st place in each age group. Awards ceremony will be held at 6:30, so make sure you stick around and enjoy the fun while you wait. Cash prizes for the top male, top female and best costume!
