Description
Learn about an attack on small station in Kentucky that led to the Battle of Peckuwe here in Clark County. While the Revolutionary War raged on the East Coast, British and native forces launched an audacious attack on Kentucky's vulnerable settlements. Their capture of Ruddle's Station turned into a bloody massacre. The pioneers who survived faced a forced march to Canada and life in captivity. Meet the men, women and children who endured the ordeal. Their struggles to find loved ones, escape their captors and return home is a story of courage and resilience.
