About This Activity
Design - Code - Play - Repeat! Join us for a week of creative coding and game design in this interactive camp made for aspiring developers! Campers will be introduced to the core principles of game development as they bring their own ideas to life through animation, logic puzzles, and digital storytelling. Each day, campers will complete fun, hands-on programming challenges using beginner-friendly platforms like CodeMonkey and Scratch-style tools. They'll learn about game mechanics, user experience, and problem-solving, while building projects like a platformer and their own version of Minesweeper! By the end of the week, they’ll even participate in a real Game Jam—collaborating to plan, design, and pitch an original game! Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout!
