About This Activity
Learn the basics of what it takes to be a lifeguard! Discover how teamwork, leadership, and aquatic safety all play a factor to having fun on the water. Assess water safety by investigation beach hazards, currents, waves, and tides. Gain an understanding on beach ecology and marine life as you practice lifeguard skills around Stonington Harbor. Upon completion, you will receive your CPR/First Aid/AED Certification and valuable skills for finding professional opportunities.
