Multimedia in Visual Arts Artists will explore an extensive selection of media and subject matter to enhance techniques practiced in 2D and 3D art-making. In the YPI Multimedia Visual Artists class you will: • Create from observation and self-exploration Develop a thematic series for auditions and college portfolio requirements Experiment with media and techniques: o sequential art development, printmaking, book design o graphite drawing, charcoal, chalk & oil pastel rendering o acrylic painting, pen & ink drawing, watercolor o clay hand-building & throwing, plaster, recycled resource materials
