Description
The Winter Maintenance program is an extension of our summer competitive program. This program is geared towards all Competitive/Developmental swimmers, Artistic swimmers, and Water Polo players who plan to compete in BCSSA events next summer and to keep them in shape over the winter. This is not a Learn to Swim program. Winter Maintenance consists of length/lap swimming and is open to CBSC swimmers aged 7-15 who are able to swim at least 300 meters (12 laps). Note, if your child was not enrolled in Comp Swim or Dev Swim during the previous summer, pre-approval will be required. Please email swimmingchair@cbswimclub.ca with your information and request to join. Training sessions are two days per week at Grandview Height Aquatic Centre: Fridays 3:45- 5:00pm AND Sundays 3:45-5:00pm. Start date Friday October 18th. Swimmers must have a current CBSC membership and valid BCSSA registration. If you did not purchase BCSSA during the summer, you must purchase it now. It will be valid until the end of Winter Maintenance. BCSSA registration link.
