Sedimentology: Tiny sand grains started out as something much bigger! Discover geological processes that shape our beaches, and learn how these processes contribute to components and characteristics of our coastlines. Use microscopes to compare and contrast sand from around the world, and learn to read the story told by the grains of sand on a beach. Parents/chaperones, do you want to learn and enjoy this lab along with your homeschool student? You can! Just register yourself along with your child to enjoy this fin-omenal program. Parent/chaperone registration is optional but required to join in the classroom. Homeschool class fees do not include aquarium admission.
