About This Activity
Our after-school math program for Grades 1 and 2 fosters a sense of curiosity while helping young learners strengthen essential math skills through engaging, hands-on activities. Each session starts with an interactive lesson designed to build core competencies, followed by a collaborative challenge or game that sparks excitement. The program concludes with discussions that connect math concepts to everyday life. Students enhance their addition and subtraction skills, identify patterns, refine estimation techniques, explore basic geometry, and engage with introductory probability to boost logical reasoning. The program culminates in an exciting group project where students design their own bingo games based on different math topics. The curriculum is reviewed and approved by certified Ontario educators.
