About This Activity
Camp Grossology is designed for campers ages 6-8. Activities and experiments explore the grosser side of science. Campers are taught true science such as the scientific method, anatomy, and entomology while engaging in a gross science activity. Details are explored in “The Science Involved” and relevant scientists are introduced in “Meet the Scientist”. Counselors should leave decorum at the door! Each day has four Science Labs, of which could be team building, science skills, or an outdoor activity. Each day starts with a science demonstration which highlights a science principle. Activity duration times are intended to serve as guidelines, but times may vary depending on the size of your group and the abilities of the campers in your group.
