Racecourse:
- The race is held on the lower portion of Vail Mountain's Golden Peak Racecourse. The race is a modified Giant Slalom with two side by side courses.
- Racers compete head to head on their respective course. Each participant will complete one run on each course. The best individual run will count toward scoring.
Official Rules:
- Your bib number should be displayed and be visible to the course official at the start.
- Each racer will complete one run on the BLUE course and one run on the RED course.
- Odd number bibs will take their first run on the RED course, and second run on Blue.
- Even number bibs will take their first run on the BLUE Course, and second run on Red.
- Racers do not need to line up in bib order at the top of the race course.
- The fastest of the two runs will count toward scoring.
- If a Master’s participant scores in the top 5 individually, they will be scored there.

Teams-
We have consolidated to competitive and non-competitive team format your team is either in it to win it or in it for fun.
- Men’s Ski
- Men’s Snowboard
- Women’s Ski
- Women’s Snowboard
- Open Team (mix of male/ female and skiers/boarders)
Team Rules
- 3 participants per team.
- Scoring based on cumulative time of 3 best runs on either course.
- Open teams can be a mixture skiers/ boarders and male/female.
Race officials reserve the right to make recommendations based on race times as to what category a team should be in.
Event details and schedule
SCHEDULE:
7:30 a.m. - 8:45a.m. Racer check-in at Colorado Ski Museum
8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Course inspection and warm-up (You can only parallel the course)
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Race: Golden Peak
11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Free Skiing, lunch on your own
3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Dinner at The Sebastian Hotel, Dinner at 4:00 and awards at 4:30
