Taught by: Little Yellow House Art A fateful trip to the South of France inspired a whole new chapter in Picasso’s career and changed pottery forever. In a decade, Van Gogh created about 2,100 artworks, most of which date from the last 2 years of his life. Joan Miro was a surrealist painter known for his imaginative painted creatures and even turned much of his 2-dimensional work into sculptures. Using the skills of hand building with clay, students will discover the multiple hallmarks of these artistic personalities in their ceramics and incorporate them into their own original ceramic work.
