About This Activity
Have you ever wanted to explore a career working with animals or helping protect wildlife? Join our Junior Rehabber Corps (JRC), a hands-on teen career exploration program, which focuses on topics such as wildlife rehabilitation, conservation, animal husbandry, careers, research, wildlife biology, and more! Classes include animal ambassador appearances, guest speakers from professionals in the field, hands-on activities, digital resources, interconnected lessons, and more. This year’s JRC theme is focused on animal-related medical careers! Each day we will uncover new topics relating to the medical care animals receive across the globe. Whether it’s rehabilitating wildlife, performing life-saving surgery, or discovering cutting-edge research, the fascinations of animal-related medical careers are as vast as the animals who receive that care.
