Description
JAZZ JAMCome and play through some jazz standards with leadership and direction from Ryan Oliver, one of the west coast’s most accomplished musicians. Get tips on style, groove, scales, form, and chords for improvisation and learn what makes it a ‘jazz standard’.
REGISTRATION: Students must register in advance online or at front desk. Registrations welcome until 7:45pm on the day of the workshopPARTICIPANTS: Anyone from the community is welcome, whether a VCM student or not.
All instruments (including singers) are welcome.
