Description
Head to Tempest Farm during the “Golden Hour” to capture stunning farm photos. There will be a discussion of the history of the property with owner Beth Temple. Learn photography tips & tricks with a naturalist before embarking on a walking tour of the farm, taking photos along the way. This program is recommended for any camera, smartphones through digital SLRs. The program will focus on technique and composition, not camera operation.
Tempest Farm is located on South Yates Avenue in Washington Township east of Beecher. It is the largest land donation from a private landowner to the Forest Preserve District of Will County. There are no restrooms on site. Activities may take place on natural surfaces across uneven natural terrain. The tour will be approximately 1 mile.
