Students will learn the two movements and three stitches used in all bobbin lace. Three-4 fours lace samples will be completed. Registrants will need to purchase the supply kit from The Lace Museum for a cost of $100. The kit includes an 18 inch firm "cookie" pillow, covered; 12 pairs of bobbins; crocheted bobbin holder; lacemaking pins; 4 divider pins; pincushion; two cover cloths; DMC perle cotton size 8 in 6 bright colors; pricker for preparing a pattern; a pusher/puller for pushing in and removing pins; the patterns on grey cardstock; a square of rubber shelf liner for under the pillow; and the 55 page curriculum. This MUST be ordered 3 weeks prior to the first class. Price of class includes materials fee.
