Description
In this fun and intensive hands-on bread/baking class, participants wil llearn (or refresh their knowledge of) the basics of bread-making, including tehcniques for measuring, proofing, mixing, kneading, and baking a variety of breads from different cultures around the world. They will make the following breads and baked goods and will also get to take some home with them to share and enjoy later: Lijiang Baba (Chinese savory frybread), Pistolettes (fried, stuffed Cajun bread), Iranian Lavash (soft, unleavened flatbread), goat cheese & sun-dried tomato madeleines, English muffins, and Israeli Sum Sum Sesame Cookies.
