About this event
Has your child been introduced to the concepts of addition and subtraction but the basic math facts just aren’t “sticking”? Is your child ready to memorize addition and/or subtraction facts with hands-on manipulatives and games? Then this class is for you and your child! Using Kate Snow’s “Addition Facts that Stick,” and her “Subtraction Facts that Stick” books, we will help your child gain confidence in basic math facts in a fun and encouraging environment. The class will be tailored to different age groups as needed, and we will make sure the rate of facts matches your child’s needs as best as possible! Your child will be assigned about 15 mins of homework, 4 days each week, outside of class time. Parents are required to purchase two books for this class: 1. “Addition Facts that Stick: Help Your Child Master the Addition Facts for Good in Just Six Weeks,” by Katie Snow. Approx. $13 online and 2. “Subtraction Facts that Stick: Help Your Child Master the Subtraction Facts for Good in Just Eight Week,” by Kate Snow. Approx $19 online. Instructor: Annaliese Franklin
