Description
Prerequisites: Swim 200 yards (8 lengths); tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands; perform a feet first surface dive to lift a brick off the bottom of the pool, plus proof of valid Ellis and Associates certification. Upon successful completion of water skills and written exam, participants receive a 1-year re-certification in Ellis and Associates Lifeguarding. Re-certification includes First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Oxygen Administration and AED. No refunds regardless of passing or failing the course.
All lifeguarding courses are running in blended format. Participants will receive online work 2 weeks prior to class start date. This coursework must be completed before attending the first in person class date.
