Description
The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life is the optimal time for socialization. Proper socialization is crucial in developing a healthy, confident dog and strengthening the dog/human bond. This class provides a positive and fun environment for pups and their owners. Common puppy behaviors such as nipping, house soiling, jumping, and barking will be discussed. Obedience cues including sit, down, come, stay, and leash will be covered. Puppies ages 2-4 months are welcome. Puppies must have had at least one full round of vaccinations at least 7 days prior to the start of class.
One participant per dog aged 14 and up is allowed in class. No retractable leashes are allowed. Positive reinforcement is used, so please bring soft treats to each class.
