Description
This 5 hours in class course will provide an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines; and also, injury prevention content.
Pre-requisite: Current FA/CPR. Cannot be expired. If expired, please register for the full course.
Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.
The following items must be purchased in order to participate · 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve · 6 pairs of latex-free gloves · 2 roller gauzes · 5 triangular bandages · 10 gauze pads · 1 golf pencil · 1 silver mylar blanket. You may choose to purchase a leadership kit ($37.96) containing these supplies at this facility or alternatively, you may purchase them on your own. 100 % attendance and participation are required Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the course. All required texts and course materials are included in course fee. Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.
