Join West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) staff and guest facilitator, Paulo J. Hidalgo, PhD. for a guided night hike experience at Cascade Springs Nature Preserve. We will highlight the geological features of the greenspace while also hiking with experts in the environmental field. Please note there are no facilities/bathrooms onsite! ABOUT PAULO J. HIDALGO, PHD Senior principal lecturer in Geosciences at Georgia State University, an immigrant from Costa Rica with interests that revolve around educating and mentoring students in the field and lab settings, merging plate tectonics, igneous processes, and landscape evolution.
