Olivia Jones is a freelance writer, swimmer, and travel enthusiast. Contrary to popular belief, writers don’t always spend all of their time in front of a computer screen! In fact, her favorite place to work is on the nature trails near her home, where she writes using voice-to-text technology. Olivia enjoys bouldering, hiking, and other outdoor activities, but her first love is distance swimming. (She hasn’t found a way to write while swimming yet, but she’s working on it.)
In addition to her love for swimming and outdoor fitness, Olivia is passionate about nutrition education and accessible exercise. She’s particularly interested in how exercise and diet can help us cope with, treat, and prevent chronic disease. She has found yoga, qi gong, swimming, dance, and other forms of exercise to be extremely therapeutic in managing her own chronic illnesses. She is often traveling but leaves her heart in North Carolina, which has been her home for decades.
