Join our camp team as we journey through an amazing summer adventure that promises new surprises, favorite Wakataka traditions, and time spent learning about God's amazing love for us! Wakataka 2025 promises to be the most amazing summer yet!! Camp Wakataka is a 5 day/1 night camp adventure on the shore of beautiful Lake Denton in Avon Park that promotes fun and spiritual growth. Monday – Wednesday 9:00am – 4:00pm Thursday starts at 9:00am ; Family Cookout is at 5:30pm, then campers sleep in cabins Friday Closing Ceremony ends at 10:00am WAKATAKA HIGHLIGHTS SPIRITUAL: High Energy Worship, Creative Life Applicable Bible Lessons, and Small Group Bible Study WATER: Splash time in Crystal Clear Lake Denton! Complete with a 150 ft. slip-n-slide. Lifeguard on Duty. DAILY ROTATIONS: Awesome Crafts, Wacky Games, Snack Shack & More GLOW IN THE DARK CAPTURE THE FLAG: Do we really need to explain! A time of fun on sleepover night. THURSDAY FAMILY COOKOUT: A family picnic, bring your appetite.
