This session is one of our most popular sessions which is geared towards adults between the ages of 40 and 65 with mild intellectual disabilities. The program uses an array of recreational activities to promote laughter, a sense of play and exploration. This is done through, storytelling, music circles, karaoke, campfires, arts and crafts, outdoor bowling, gardening, nature exploration, gentle cabin rivalry, dancing, and swimming. Campers require minimum assistance or supervision and usually participate enthusiastically in the camp routines. DAY 1 CAMP DROP OFF TIME: ON OR AFTER 3:00PM DAY 6 CAMP PICK UP TIME: Between 9:00AM - 11:00AM NOTE: Camp Tidnish does not provide a 1:1 staff-to-camper care ratio - if a camper requires constant support at home/school due to adverse behaviours or care/medical reasons then the camper would require a support person (Worker/family member) to be able to attend camp. If this is the case please select the support person option ($200) and the Camp Director will call to discuss this with you.
