5 Weeks Experience Level: Beginner, All Levels Students will gain a basic material understanding of drawing and painting methods as we spend time outside painting the landscape. Students will learn about plein air techniques and painting and drawing from observation. There are two offsite locations for this class, including Monmouth Park at BAC and the Longwood Mall. Students will meet at BAC and travel as a group to their decided destination. The Longwood Mall, a linear park that includes some of the oldest groves of European Beech trees in North America. The park is approximately a half mile away from the Brookline Arts Center. Art materials will be provided by BAC, along with easels, and seats.
