Description

These young adults are required to have a working bike along with a helmet for their travels in the Coralville & Iowa City area. Most mornings will be spent on community service learning projects and learning/self-development opportunities. The afternoons are spent swimming, exploring, and going on local and out of town field trips.

The staff will facilitate, while the participants are actively involved with the planning of the program's weekly development. Each week consists of new activities and adventures along with weekly field trips. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while making and meeting new friends. The program is open for students entering 6th through 9th grade, program will meet in the gym at Kate Wickham. Trekkers will average about 5 to 10 miles a day on their bikes.
