Description

In this collaboration with DPR's Arts & Culture Program, you will hike at Lair O' Bear Park and do art! Outdoor Recreation instructors will provide instruction, equipment, and transportation, for the hiking portion. An Arts & Culture instructor will provide gear and instruction for the art portion. On this date of the series, you will use nature as a raw material to explore sculpture, collage, and time-based works. Remember to bring a camera or phone to document your art before returning your materials to their environment.

CANCELLATIONS: If Outdoor Recreation cancels the trip due to inclement weather, lack of participants, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the participants will receive a full REFUND.
REFUNDS: 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels the registration 15 days in advance, a full REFUND will be given. LESS THAN 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels registration less than 15 days in advance, NO CREDIT OR REFUND will be given.
APPEAL: If a participant experiences a serious illness or loss that prevents their attendance that requires special consideration, an appeal can be submitted to the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation for review.
