Beginner Piano Level 2 for Adults 55+
Wednesdays, 12:15 - 1:15pmFebruary 19 - May 14, 2025 (12 weeks)Skip: April 16
This class is the next level and builds upon skills learned in Beginning Level 1. This class is ideal for anyone who has had some previous piano experience, can read and play music at a beginner level, but who might not be quite ready for Intermediate Level studies.
In this class students will improve their note recognition, rhythm/counting, hand coordination and finger dexterity. Students will learn pieces in various key signatures (Major and Minor) and expand their theory knowledge.
Enjoy making music in this supportive group class setting. Learn alongside your peers and one-on-one with Teaching Artist, Dr. Ina Mirtcheva Blevins.
Students are welcome to join and repeat this class multiple times until they are comfortable moving on to the Intermediate Piano class. The instructor is prepared to encourage and work with students at different levels during this class.
