Intermediate Piano for Adults 55+Wednesdays, 1:15 - 2:15pmFebruary 19 - May 14, 2025 (12 weeks)Skip: April 16
This class is designed for anyone with at least 1 or 2 years of piano studies and for those students who have completed 55+ Level 1 and Level 2 at the Academy.
Extended techniques such as arpeggios and chord inversions will be studied and applied in various songs. Students will explore various music genres and composers to broaden your musical horizons and inspire a deeper appreciation for the art of piano playing. Different time signatures such as 6/8 will also be explored, as well as extended harmonies with augmented and diminished chords.
This class is specifically designed to provide a relaxed and stress-free environment for intermediate piano players beyond the Level 1 or Level 2 Beginner Classes. Enjoy making music in this supportive group class setting! Learn alongside your peers and one-on-one with Teaching Artist, Dr. Ina Mirtcheva Blevins.
