They'll experience the engineering behind armor as they create their own chain mail and body armor using both additive and fabrication techniques, including a half-day of real metal smelting. As the week builds, so do the students' creations, leading up to an epic mock battle featuring foam swords and shields, padded arrows, and protective barriers.
