Silver Group Description:
The Silver group is the intermediate training group within the Seahawks program, and practices focus on swimming, with occasional dry-land training.

The minimum requirements are the demonstrated ability to swim freestyle and backstroke for 100 yards continuously, breaststroke or butterfly stroke for 50 yards continuously, and do a forward start.

The focus is on improving skills for the four competitive strokes, starts, and turns, as well as understanding how to train effectively for competition.

If you have not previously swum with the Seahawks or were previously in the Bronze group, you must obtain a coach's evaluation and approval on the first day of a session to sign up for this group.

The Haslett Community Swim Club program is dedicated to creating an environment that fosters an ideal atmosphere for athletes of all skill levels to learn and develop the sport of competitive swimming. Our skilled coaching staff works to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for all athletes, enabling each swimmer to achieve their personal goals in the pool and experience the lifelong enjoyment of swimming. Our focus is that through the pursuit of excellence in the pool, the competitive swimming experience can be a catalyst for developing life skills such as self-discipline, dedication, leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
