Indy Parks Swim Instructor Training
Become a swim instructor and make a difference in your community! This 2.5-hour in-water training will prepare you to teach swim lessons the Indy Parks way, focusing on proper stroke instruction and water safety. Participants will learn how to effectively teach freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly while gaining hands-on experience with the Indy Parks Swim School curriculum.
Through interactive instruction and practice, you’ll develop the skills needed to guide students of all levels, ensuring they progress safely and confidently in the water. Trainees must be prepared to be in the water for the duration of the course and should have a strong foundation in swimming.
By completing this training, you’ll be equipped to help young swimmers not only become proficient in core strokes but also recognize and respond to water hazards—making a lasting impact on their safety and confidence in aquatic environments.
